The oil-free scroll vacuum pump comprises a pump head, motor, and base. The pump head contains moving and stationary scroll discs, a crankshaft, seals, a fan, and a pump casing. The scroll discs consist of a circular plane surface with one or more involute spiral disc walls projecting from it. The stationary and moving scroll discs
The oil-free scroll vacuum pump's fundamental pumping mechanism comprises the combined scroll discs of the moving and stationary scroll discs. During operation, the moving and stationary scroll discs remain non-contacting. Their relative motion creates progressively smaller crescent-shaped compression chambers. Through the cycle of intake, compression, and exhaust, gas is drawn in through the inlet port and expelled via the outlet port, thereby achieving vacuum extraction within the chamber.
